Join Pfeiffer Nature Center and DEC Wildlife Biologist, Connie Adams as she takes us on a learning journey about the Peregrine Falcon and Common Tern. Discover the astounding efforts underway to save these two very special bird species of Western New York. Through breathtaking photographs and amazing firsthand stories the information about threatened and endangered species will be brought to life. Explore the factors that lead to the decline of both birds and the current commitment in equipment, finances and personnel dedicated to the recovery of these magnificent flyers. This activity is free and open to the public. Donations gratefully accepted. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Location: Portville Free Library. Reservations required.
